Calvary Chapel Santa Barbara is hosting their "Breaking Through" women's conference for ages 13 and up on Saturday, April 26th from 9am-3pm. Come hear powerful testimonies from six women that have been through horrible situations from human trafficking to addictions, depression and more. Each one shares how they overcame their darkness with the love and hope from Jesus Christ! Conference is free and doors open at 8:30am. Central Coast Marian Eucharistic Ministries is having their Spring Fundraiser “High Tea and Fashion through the Years” on Saturday, April 26th at The Historic Carlton Hotel in Atascadero at 2:00pm. There will be a hat contest, silent auction, food and 1920-present day fashion show! Church For Life’s intern Justin Thompson will be hosting the "Ludwig Christian Film Festival" on Wednesday, April 30th from 7-9pm. The event will be showcasing several different short films, which can be submitted for free by April 15th. An award ceremony for the short films that excelled in their film design will be held after the showcasing. Popcorn, snacks, and drinks - $1.00. A local realty business in North County (SLO) is giving Captive Hearts Ministries a yard make-over on Thursday, May 8th. Captive Hearts Ministry is a Christian recovery home helping restore women’s emotional, spiritual and educational wellbeing. A vegetable garden, herb garden and a gazebo would help to make this a more relaxing atmosphere for restoration. The yard make over requires supplies such as soil, herbs, outdoor furniture, and more.
