Saint John’s Lutheran church is sponsoring a week of free admission to the movie, “Son of God”. This movie will be featured at the Fair Oaks Theater on Grand Avenue in Arroyo Grande.  All of the 7pm showings are free from Friday, April 11th through Thursday, April 17th. Grace Baptist Church of Lompoc is hosting a family friendly concert on Wednesday, April 16th at 7:00pm. The concert will feature “The Durocher Family”, a Minnesota band (ages 15-25) who play an eclectic mix of contemporary acoustic music! Concert takes place at 1009 E. Pine Ave in Lompoc. Several churches on the Central Coast are partnering together to host “Reach The Beach”, an outreach to children, teens and adults featuring renowned minister Josh McDowell. The crusade will take place at Los Osos Middle School on their soccer fields at 1555 El Morro St. in Los Osos. This event starts on Thursday, April 17th at 7pm, with youth ministry starting at 5pm. Nightly meetings go through Saturday April 19th. Dinner served for $10. Nursery and children’s church provided. Oak Park Christian Church in Grover Beach is having a Good Friday Worship Experience service on Friday night, April 18th at 7pm. Atascadero First Assembly’s Kids in Action ministry is hosting the “Egg Mazing Race”, an Easter egg hunt inside a maze! There will be over 12,000 colorful eggs, free games and inflatables! Event will take place at the Atascadero Sunken Gardens on Saturday April 19th at 10:00am. Kids 18 months to 6th grade a welcome to participate in the hunt. Ventura First Assembly is hosting a free Easter Egg Hunt at Juanamaria Park on Saturday, April 19th from 10am - 12pm. Events take place at Kimball Rd & Loma Vista in Ventura. Egg hunt is for ages 1 year –to 11 years old. Please bring your own basket and join the FUN!  In addition to the egg hunt, there will be free face painting, an art zone and inflatables! Central Coast Marian Eucharistic Ministries is having their Spring Fundraiser “High Tea and Fashion through the Years” on Saturday, April 26th at The Historic Carlton Hotel in Atascadero at 2:00pm. There will be a hat contest, silent auction, food and 1920-present day fashion show! Church For Life’s intern Justin Thompson will be hosting the "Ludwig Christian Film Festival" on Wednesday, April 30th from 7-9pm. The event will be showcasing several different short films, which can be submitted for free by April 15th. An award ceremony for the short films that excelled in their film design will be held after the showcasing. Popcorn, snacks, and drinks - $1.00.
